Congratulations to our Saint of the Week Carldon Darko!!
We are beginning our spring fire drills beginning this week. Schools are required to perform three fire drills and one lockdown drill in the fall and again in the spring. We always make sure to make special accommodations for students with special needs. If your child has anxiety or issues connected to fire drills or lockdowns, please have a discussion with them and if necessary contact the school for any necessary accommodations.
The Catholic School Council will meet on April 23rd at 6pm in the school library. If you are interested, please feel free to attend. For more information, please reach out to the school.
Our E-Sports League is up and running. We have 40 students on ten teams who will be vying for the Ultimate Mario Kart Championship. The E-Sports League will continue through the spring and we will have playoffs in May and a live championship in June.
We are hosting a grade 7/8 ball hockey tournament for the Catholic Schools in the area. The tournament will be held across the road at the outdoor hockey rink on Friday, April 26th. There will be a canteen for all students participating.
Sunday, April 28th, our grade 2 students will be celebrating their First Communion at St. Andrew’s Parish @10:30 mass. Congratulations to all of our students on this wonderful moment in your faith journey.
