October 16 – 20
Our first Catholic School Council meeting will take place at 6pm on October 16th. Minutes from this meeting will be made available on the school website as per ministry requirements. If you are interested in being a part of Catholic School Council, please contact the school.
All IEPs will be going home on Tuesday, October 17th.
Allen Smoke, a local Indigenous leader, will be coming in to do a wampum workshop with our grade 6 and 7 classes on Tuesday, October 17th.
Halloween Bake Sale: We will be holding a Halloween bake sale on Tuesday, October 31st. More details regarding the bake sale will be coming next week.
Fire Prevention: Members of the South Stormont Fire Station will be visiting our classrooms on Thursday, October 19th to discuss fire safety with our students.
Please make an effort to be at our monthly Good News Assembly on Thursday, October 26th. Our drama club will be putting on their first performance and sharing the story of scribble spot. The assembly begins at 3:00pm
Coming Up – Picture Day is November 2nd (retakes November 23rd). We are planning on starting up the Milk Program in the near future. More details to come.
